Magic Soul Academy better known as “The Heart of Hartford” is an electrifying Showstyle Drumline & Danceline group from Hartford, CT. This group consists of kids from Hartford and surrounding towns ranging from ages 6-25. Magic soul Academy is an all year round program that performs & travels all over CT & outer states. This program is designed to enrich the lives of youth by providing opportunities for artistic expression and leadership development through music, drum, dance, and much more. Culturing youth through music and the performing arts which is a language that crosses generations as well as social, economic, and racial barriers. The best band in CT, guaranteed to Show up & Show out anywhere we go.

Our Mission is to enrich the lives of youth by providing opportunities for artistic expression and leadership development through music, drum, dance, and much more. Culturing youth through music and the performing arts which is a language that crosses generations as well as social, economic, and racial barriers. Our staff takes pride in developing the lives of our members by helping them become responsible and respected members of society. Developing social and interpersonal skills is also an important part of the Magic Soul experience and our program class environment offers a myriad of opportunities to apply the skills that they are learning in the real-world and performing situations..

Magic Soul Academy has had the pleasure of being invited to lead the UConn men & women’s basketball victory parade 4 years in a row. We have been invited to participate in the St. Patrick’s Day parade and rally race in Holyoke, MA 2 years in a row. We have been booked for multiple Sweet 15’s & 16’s. We have also been booked for marriage proposals as well as weddings. We have had the pleasure of doing pre-games and halftime shows for the Connecticut Sun WNBA Team. We were 2023 finalists in “Hartford’s Got Talent”. We were the first and only group from the state of CT to travel & represent CT in the 2023 North Carolina A&T Homecoming Parade & Holland Bowl. We were given a City of Hartford Court of Common Council Citation by Councilman Nick LeBron and much more. Thanks to the great work & success we provide to our youth in our community, we have been able to achieve a scholarship program that has allowed us to place more than 12 students in some great learning institutions in state and out of state such as UConn, CCSU, Duke University, Lincoln Tech, Virginia State University, and many more. We take Great pride in the work we do with our youth and we will continue to provide this amazing service.
